  • Ahhhhh...Poop...
    again

    maybe not the best picture
    for the situation, but, hey
it's the best I could come up with!

I'm wondering, and I'm sure you are too, how many poopie blogs I can possibly do.  Well, I'm hoping this will be the last...but who really knows.  I'm PRAYING this will be the last.

So yesterday...I take a little nap...wake up, and realize James is still asleep..woo hoo!  Rachel calls, and I'm chatting with her...and then I hear James squeal. Oh, he's up.  Good.  I need to get him ready anyway, since we are all heading to the lake.  Okay, good.

I walk in..still talking to Rachel...and the first thing that hits me is the smell...then I see him.  And my first thought is "OH SHIT"  ...yep.  Lots of it.  All over him.  Now I mean..ALL OVER.  Head to toe...on his binkie..( I know TMI )  In his hair...you get the picture.  He's also decided it's fun to finger paint with.  Yep.  All over the walls..the chair rail, the light switch..and just CAKED on his crib.  And him with a big smile...I'd even go so far as to say it was a 'shit eating grin'.

I just started laughing.  I mean..what could I do?  It was my fault I put him down for his nap in a tshirt and diaper, instead of putting on shorts.  Emily did this a FEW times...so I know the drill.  Strip him, strip me...and head to the shower.  I made sure to call my friend so he could point and laugh at me...and I could do a little venting of my own....oy.

And James, through this whole thing, is just smiling...he thinks he's the funniest little guy ever.  And he is, really.  But this...wasn't....that...funny.  I told him next time he wanted me to laugh, to just tell me a joke.  heh.

The evening was spent with my trusty 409 bottle...and paper towels...and me...trying not to gag.
I'm just wondering...really, what else can go wrong here? ( I shouldn't even write that..oy)  I've always been one for counting my blessings and all...but sheesh.  Marriage in huge trouble...transmission blows...too much stupid drama...and them...dun dun dun!!...POOP.

Yep..I think POOP about sums it up.  Lol...but hey, he's clean now, right?

Today is going to be full of laundry and packing.  I'm heading to my moms in South Dakota on Saturday morning...for a week!  It will be nice to get away.  The kids are staying with our friends..and Mike is going to Las Vegas with his parents.  I was suppose to go too...but I was uninvited...SO...South Dakota it is!!

Wish me luck on the laundry and packing....and wish me a lack of POOP today, okay?

    xoxo

I'm hoping to catch up on all of you today..I'm sorry I haven't been visiting as much...too much going on!!  xoxoxoxoxoxo

  • South Dakota?? Good lord where in SD? I love visiting my family in S.D!!!

I think the poop all over is a rite of passage for all baby boys. I have 4 and all 4 have done similar. I was thinking it was just my kids.

  • EWWW!!!That was a *shitting* story ROTFLMAO...(okay BAD joke hehee) I remember when my daughter was little and decided to *play* with the little doggies poop...OMG it was just awful lol My three kids have all done the same as yours...the best tho is when they get older like mine(24,20 and 16) and mom decides to tell that *poopy story* to their friends or spouse hahaha...a mothers revenge??hehehe

  • Hmmm. I can honestly say that Tyler never played with his poop, LOL. But after working in childcare for 3 years with 18-24 month olds, I now know a few kids who did.

  • My daughter did pretty much the exact same thing when she was little. I turned to my first mistake, (husband) and said, "Your turn" and walked out her bedroom door. He was a good sport and handled it. Looking back, it's funny. At the time, not so funny. When I read your entry it took me right back in time, (around 23 years) in an instant.

Have a great time in SD!

    As Ever,
    Amethyst

  • Oh, goodness...  you poor woman!    So far I haven't had to deal with POOP with Elania, and hopefully I never will.  She's actually a very clean child...  when she gets out the sandbox she immediately brushes herself off and asks me to empty her shoes of sand.

  • Yikes!  Hoping you have yourself a nice vacation too!!!  You deserve it and a little pampering too for yourself is in order too sweetie! Kira

  • OOohh....uh...er...ROFL!  I can only say that because I've recently had to clean out my son's "cage" 'tho he's not playing in it yet.  *smirk*

Have fun at your folks ~ you sure you don't want me to send my mom out there to visit??? C'monnnnnnnn, it'd be fun!  hehenehe.

    Love,

    me

  • Your poop story brings back traumatic memories of working daycare.  Changing 20 diapers a day was not my idea of a good time.  :P

  • Oh my!!  What fun :-s .  I hope you have a great, much needed week away!

  • cody does that....well not exactly.  for some reason when we are eating dinner he always (ok, not always but 9 times out of 10) has to poop and if its nasty, i swear, he just blows a hole right through the diaper.  its so gross......im eating, jays eating, and he is eating, and he is picking up food he dropped out of his chair, i smell something really bad (i never smell it right away?) then i find out his diaper blew and its all over his legs and feet and its on the floor and in his chair (yeah, the chair he was picking the food up from).  so gross.  gag!  dinner isnt that great after cleaning crap up.  theres no piont in even trying to eat after that.

  • OMG that was too hilarious... I know haha real funny for you would I like to come clean it up for you... um no. But thanks for the offer. *chuckles* ANYWHO... I hope you havea  great time in SD, who wants to hang out with him and his parents anyway hey? You'll have better chill time w/your mum... less drama.

    Have a great time hon.

  • LOL.  My brother did that once when he was little!
