Ahhhhh....Poop.
I get up this morning..dragging my heiney (?)...whatever..my butt. I keep on smelling something...something that smells an awful lot like....poop. Hmmm...I think. Weird. Just changed the baby...
Come out here...check mail..blah, blah. All the sudden, here comes Em, holding her swimming suit. That's sopping wet..and dirty. Real dirty. Poop dirty. Ewwwwwwww. I felt so bad for her..poor thing. She kept saying she was sorry...so sorry. Ahhhh....I just kept on saying it was okay..it was an accident..She was coughing last night, so I gave her some Nyquil..( It helps her get her ZZZ's..lol) ehem..so..childrens Nyquil, and only half a dose..but I wonder if that had somthing to do with it..you know, like she just couldn't wake up or something...
So...my morning started off with bed washing, poop cleanup..showers..bleach..and a bathroom that's now disinfected. Ewww...
I feel like I need to shower...( and not the good kind of shower, either!)
Hope all of your mornings are going better than mine...but I guess it's all in the perspective.
Suprisingly enough, though, I'm in a great mood..hmmm...

Ewww. Poor you, and poor Em. What a way to start the morning.
Well that couldn't be fun. My dd gets really upset sometimes when she has accidents, particularly on the floor, and I feel so bad for her too.
Oh, and I forgot to add that she also has more accidents when she is running a fever, for whatever reason. Not poop accidents, but I can sometimes tell she's sick because she'll have pee accidents. I don't know why it happens that way, though.

I swear the one part of parenthood that I can't comprehend is poop cleanup. I'm getting near the point in my life where kids will be coming, and I can see me doing all the rest (not just the fun stuff, the sacrifice and responsibility too), but poop cleanup...
Can't we just skip ahead to the sex talk?
Ahhhh...the joys of motherhood. Poop cleanup and puke duty are some of my favorites...NOT. I hope Em feels better and I'm glad you're still in a good mood! I have the day off, for real, so I'm enjoying it. Would love to take a day off a week. *sigh*

On a serious note..(Cos I am capable of that) I hope she feels better...a hug of understanding from Mom is all it takes..

I like to say the word Poopie cuz it's fun, but cleaning it up isn't so much. I worked at a Day Care for awhile and had to change about twenty diapers every day. I felt like I was starting to turn into a poopie by the end of it!
Well I’m glad your in a good mood despite this incident, also glad you’re a good mom and didn’t go psycho on the poor kid like I’ve seen some mom’s do over an accident! Well I’m on to read the rest of your entries and catch up!
